How to Beat Bed Bugs for 65p
Bed bugs - urgh! How do you beat them?
We all hate unwelcome guests, especially those of the six-legged variety! But what if I told you there's a solution lurking right in your kitchen, and it costs just 65p.
Wales Online reported that with the current bed bug epidemic hitting Britain, a savvy cleaning guru has unveiled a remarkable tip. This expert swears by a common 65p kitchen cupboard ingredient to send those pesky critters packing: Baking Soda.
One of the best ways to get rid of bedbugs is to use baking soda, according to Nigel Bearman, who runs a cleaning company called Daily Poppins. He revealed his tips on how to find and eliminate these pests “effectively” using this cheap and common ingredient, which you can buy for 65p from Tesco. Baking soda works by absorbing the fluids on the bugs’ waxy shells, making them dry out.
Nigel told WalesOnline: “The baking soda granules can also make the bed bugs bleed internally, because they can cut through their shells.”
To use this simple DIY method, you should sprinkle baking soda around your mattress and the area where the bed bugs usually hide. After a few days, you should vacuum it up and repeat the process thoroughly.
To wrap things up, Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, remarked, "It's always remarkable to see everyday items being used in unexpected ways. This proves that often the simplest, most cost-effective solutions are right under our noses."
Wow what a simple yet brilliant and cheap way to kill them, saves having to pay someone to do it using chemicals
