Sainsbury’s HUGE Toy Sale Launch Date Is Revealed
Like many other supermarkets, Sainsbury's will soon be launching a huge toy sale so shoppers can get their hands on reduced goods in time for Christmas. However the date for this big sale has now been revealed.
James Flanders at The Sun reported that a consumer savings expert has some insider information on the launch date for the sale. Dan Evans disclosed: "I have it, on good authority, it'll be from Wednesday, October 11 until Tuesday, October 24."
Shoppers are expecting to find popular brands, such as Barbie and Lego, at discounted prices. We don't know yet how large these discounts will be, although they were substantial in last year's sale. Some items could be half price, however this likely won't apply to every toy.
Last year the toy sale started between October 12 and October 18, so it should be around the same time this year. During this time, the sale was only available in store so it's worth bearing in mind as that could be the case again this year.
We also made a post for the Sainsbury's toy sale last year and will do the same this year. Here you can see some images of reduced toys, which include Hot Wheels, Peppa Pig, Lego and more.
Whilst many items could have a big reduction price this year, make sure you shop around other retailers to see if you've actually found a good deal. Even if a product is on sale in one shop, it may still be available for a cheaper price at another one.
Of course, you can check out Latest Deals anytime to find discounts and there are online tools that let you compare prices for specific items, including the Latest Deals Price Comparison tool.
Tom Church, co-founder of money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk, concludes: "It's always worth checking out a sale, especially if you happen to find out about it in advance. However, always make sure to check other websites and retailers to make sure you're getting the best deal on the market. Especially if you're looking for a particular product."
