Superdrug Announces New Perks For Members Inc. Freebies

Image

Hey Deal Hunters, if you're a regular at Superdrug, there's some exciting news for you! Keira Clarke at The Sun reported that Superdrug is rolling out a brand-new VIP Rewards Loyalty Scheme. Gone are the days of fumbling with physical loyalty cards; this is all about shifting to an app-first approach.

From today, current Health and Beautycard app and Superdrug.com members will see their rewards scheme automatically update. Just download the app from the Google Play Store or the Apple Store and you're all set. For every quid you spend at Superdrug, you'll get a point. Accumulate 100 points and you've got yourself a pound to spend.

Here's the spicy bit: your spending will determine your rewards. Hit a total spend of £300 and you'll unlock the VIP status, granting you a full year of juicy offers. Think 'always on' deals like 10% off Superdrug's own brand and fresh rewards popping up on the app every couple of months. They've hinted at exclusive freebies for VIP members too, so keep your eyes peeled!

But, a heads-up: To maintain that VIP glow, you'll need to keep up that £300 spend annually.

Matt Walburn, the ecommerce Director at Superdrug, shared their vision: “We wanted to reward our loyal customers with offers that they would find useful... enhancing our offline plus online initiative to engage and improve the customer experience.”

On a side note, Superdrug's also making waves by banning single-use vapes and becoming the first UK retailer to stock beauty brand Avon both in-store and online.

To wrap it up, Tom Church, Co-Founder of shopping community LatestDeals.co.uk, remarked, "The move to app-based loyalty schemes highlights the evolving shopping landscape, and Superdrug is certainly enticing customers with a robust reward system." Happy hunting, folks!

Grimshaw I was thinking that, too - it sounds like a lot of money. But I guess if you religiously buy various beauty products - skincare, makeup and toiletries ; a few perfumes and xmas presents, you can probably whack up to £300?
