Win a Glasgow 1770 Single Malt Scotch Whisky Gift Box containing a 70cl bottle of a limited-edition single cask bottling: Glasgow 1770 Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish alongside two branded whisky glasses. This box is from the pioneering and award-winning Glasgow Distillery who are known for producing an innovative range of single malt scotch whiskies, gins, vodkas and rums.

This gift box contains a 70cl bottle of their limited-edition single malt scotch whisky, bottled in collaboration with Glasgow's prestigious Princes Square Shopping Centre.

The contents of a single cask, number 18/975, this limited-edition bottling is the result of taking a first fill ex-bourbon cask filled in 2018 with the distilelry's smooth and vibrant triple distilled spirit and finishing in a sumptuous Bordeaux red wine cask for two years and seven months.

Bottled in July 2023 at 52% ABV without chill filtration and at natural colour, this release was limited to only 347 bottles and is no longer available to purchase, making this prize even more special.

Bordeaux Red Wine Cask Finish - Tasting Notes

On the nose, expect delicate floral notes of rose and blossom set against freshly chopped strawberries, ripe raspberries, fresh cream and cheesecake.

On the palate; fresh peaches, honey, and notes of sweet vanilla fill the palate, alongside notes of creamy white chocolate and hints of dark fruits.

The finish is long, smooth and delicate, with notes of black cherry, espresso coffee and rich oak spice.
