To celebrate the return of Donald Campbell’s iconic Bluebird K7 to Coniston, The Coppermines Lakes Cottages are giving away a short break in Coniston plus 4 free tickets to see Bluebird at her new forever home in the Ruskin Museum.

You and up to 3 friends can enjoy a weekend or midweek in the Lake District village of Coniston. Coniston is an excellent base for any Lake District holiday. The village is packed with friendly pubs, local shops and lively cafés. There’s incredible walking straight from the village centre, including the iconic Coniston Old Man and you can visit the lake shore of the beautiful Coniston Water.

And while in Coniston, a visit to the Ruskin Museum is a must. Here, you’ll be able to view the legendary Bluebird K7 Jet Hydroplane in the specially built Bluebird Wing of the museum. The prize includes free entry for 4 people into the Ruskin Museum, courtesy of The Coppermines.

Prize to be taken in either 2 Dixon Ground Cottage, 4 Dixon Ground Cottage or Old Post Cottage subject to each cottage’s availability. Excludes school holidays and Bank Holidays.

Prize does not include transport and you must make your own way to your accommodation.

Short break comprises a 4 night midweek break Monday to Friday or a 3 night weekend break Friday to Monday.

Prize to be taken by 7th July 2024.

Prize winner must be 18 or over.
