With this personal breakdown cover, you will be personally covered rather than your vehicle. This means that you'll be eligible for roadside cover even if you break down in someone else's car, whether you're the driver or the passenger. The vehicle will be fixed at the roadside or if the patrol can't fix it, you will be towed up to 10 miles either to your home address or a local garage. Plus, a taxi will also be arranged to take your passengers home.

There are also several add ons available to include in your policy, such as Recovery in case your vehicle needs towing, Battery Replace if yours fails and more. These add ons will cost extra however so if you only want to pay the £42 annual cost, you can choose to skip these.

This offer is great if you have plans to travel anywhere in the UK soon, as it gives you that peace of mind that you'll be covered should you happen to break down. If you want some added security during a day trip or a weekend away, you'll get it with RAC.
