I have a 250W bike with fat tyres just like this and it's great fun. The fat tyres do have some draw backs though, if I pedal as hard as I can with the motor set at maximum I usually don't go as fast downhill as a normal bike freewheeling. Without the motor you'd need to be rather fit to cycle almost anywhere.
55Nm torque on smaller 20" wheels (although fat tyres) should be pretty decent power for hill climbing. Lots of cargo bikes use 20" wheels as it increases torque for higher loads and 55Nm is pretty decent anyway. Seems a fantastic deal with such a large capacity battery too.
