Free £50 Fix Your Bike Government Voucher Scheme*
The scheme
Halfords, the nation’s largest provider of cycling services, is partnering with the Department for Transport to support the Fix Your Bike Government Voucher Scheme. Through this scheme, residents in England will be able to apply for a free bike repair voucher that can be used to get their bike back into working order and out on the road again.
The Government is making millions of pounds’ worth of vouchers available, so don’t miss this opportunity to get your bike repaired, improve your fitness, enhance your commute and reduce air pollution. Find a local bike repair shop to book your repair.
Redeeming your Government voucher
To redeem your Fix Your Bike Government Voucher, follow the steps below:
Step 1 - Book your free bike assessment on this page and choose a time and store that suits you.
Step 2 - Bring your bike, Government voucher and approved form of identification to your chosen Halfords store. We’ll validate your Government voucher and undertake a free 32-point bike assessment, to identify any repairs or maintenance needed.
Step 3 - Approve the repairs and apply your voucher. Your mechanic will talk you through the repairs required and how you can put your voucher towards the cost of getting your bike back on the road. They’ll then order any parts required to fix your bike.
Step 4 - Book a repair appointment in store at a time that is convenient for you. You can either leave your bike at your local store, or bring it back at the time of your repair appointment with our bike mechanic.
Step 5 - Collect your bike. We’ll call to inform you when your bike is ready for collection. The voucher will cover the first £50 of your repairs and you can simply pay the difference if your repairs cost more than this.
