In the spec it states 4k at 30fps but also 2.7k at 30fps this normally means the 4k resolution is interpolated from a lower resolution. The 2.7k is probably the true resolution which I think means the image sensor is 4 megapixels. This also means all still images above 4 megapixels are interpolated.
Bear in mind action cameras are a minefield of false claims. They state the interpolated resolution in the selling points but the real quality of the camera is based on the image sensor and chipset used. Sony or Panasonic sensors are great and something like an Ambarella chipset is the one to go for. You do get such cameras at around this price level. You also get toy action cameras sold at the same price with general plus chipsets and 1.3 megapixel sensors.
This is a good camera to look out for it often goes cheap on amazon warehouse or ebay.

I bought mine for £20 on ebay brand new but £30 is a common price at times. It has a fantastic 16MP sony sensor and high quality ambarella chipset delivering professional results. It is widely supported with custom firmwares and does fantastic quality 2k video at 30fps.
