subtle notes of fruitcake and eucalyptus transcend into sweet heather honey, culminating with a flourish of cooling mint after being matured for 44 years in North American ex-Bourbon Hogshead casks and bottled in 2011.
There are only 263 bottles yielded from the cask making it very rare indeed. Each bottle is uniquely numbered.
Wow what an amazing deal this is for rich people I may have to grab myself a crate of them
Whisky has become very collectable. £3,600 isn't considered that expensive amongst serious collectors.

Last year a bottle of The Macallan 1926 60 Year Old sold for $1,512,000 at auction - https://www.businessinsider.com/most-expensive-wines-spirits-whiskey-sold-christies-auction-2018-12?r=US&IR=T#1-the-macallan-1926-60-year-old-1512000-10
The problem with these extremely expensive bottles of whisky is that they are mainly being purchased to add to a collection and/or as an investment. Very few will ever be drunk, which is a shame and ultimately self-defeating. If no one is going to drink it why bother spending decades making it. You may as well just fill the bottles with IRN-BRU.
