My contract is up on 2nd June. I upgraded to Advanced 8gb u/l mins/txt without GoBinge for £8pm. Just contacted Three and as I’m within the 14 day cooling off period they’ve let me swap to this amazing deal from 2nd June instead. Happy customer. Hi, did you use Chat or Phone 3? I'm in the same boat that I'd just taken out the 8gb for £8 deal so also in the cooling off period. I've just been on Chat but they said the best they could do was 12gb for £12?? How did you contact them and which department did you speak to?
emmabeckz Cheers Emma, that's really useful. I was on to them for 2 hours on chat through to the return and exchange team and explained the whole situation, including that 3 had already done it for another customer who had updated the deal comments here but they still said the best I could get was 12gb for £12 per month. Then when I said I'd have to cancel and take out the other offer they said their system was being upgraded so I couldn't cancel at the moment! 
I'm going to start again tomorrow and hopefully get someone else who works out how they can do it. Any idea which team your partner was talking to?

emmabeckz Morning Emma, I got straight through this morning on Chat but was told there was nothing they could do for 48 hours as they have a system problem still. Rang them but was told I need to go to Chat. Tried to get the PAC code via text so I could take up the new offer and switch later but that can't be supplied at the moment, I assume also due to the system error. Interestingly enough because I got so far with ordering the new sim before I needed the PAC code Three sent me an email reminding me I had the 12gb deal in my basket and would I like to purchase it so I've even got an email from them now incase the offer ends. I'm sure I'll get there!! Watch this space. ;-)
Is this a real deal.. I'm trying to contact 3 to speak to them but dissatisfied that I'm getting no response

Yep, I ordered it earlier today, sim will be delivered by Thursday. Got a PAC code within 15 seconds from my existing provider (rolling contract) all sorted, looking forward to seeing what the coverage is like

Hi all I struggled to get on initially as they said it was for new customers only anyway later someday they rang and said they would do it for me and so did a contract for my wife to. Yes it's a great saving also its mentioned on nhs discounts if any NHS staff were interested. Thanks all for replying much appreciated
