Want to buy a genuine Fingerlings Unicorn Gigi by WowWee - the newest Fingerlings family member? Gigi the Fingerlings Unicorn will soon be appearing at UK Toys R Us stores – it’s an exclusive, much like the Hatchimals Owlicorn was last year.

The UK Toys R Us website is now listing Fingerlings Unicorn Gigi for sale, price £14.99 but is not taking Home Delivery or Click & Collect orders yet. You may find some Fingerlings Unicorns in store already, if you are very lucky, but it’s more likely that more substantial UK stock of Fingerlings Unicorn Gigi will arrive towards the end of October. You can the Fingerling Unicorns to sell out very very quickly if the US experience is anything to go by. Fingerlings Gigi Unicorns are as hard to find as a real unicorn!

BEWARE DON’T GET DUPED! There are huge numbers of fake Fingerlings coming from China being sold on both Amazon and eBay at cheaper prices.

In a Facebook comment, Wow Wee the genuine Fingerlings producer said: "We advise Amazon shoppers to purchase exclusively from the official Amazon seller detailed as "Ships from and sold by Amazon.com."

If you buy Fingerlings make sure they are branded Wow Wee.

If they are:

A. Not branded Wow Wee

B. Branded with a word in front of the brand Wow Wee (eg. Chinky Wow Wee, Bandai Wow Wee, or similar)

C. Sold by a seller based in China or Hong Kong

D. Sold at a price that sounds too good to be true

Be careful, they are very unlikely to be the genuine product.

To avoid counterfeit Fingerlings I recommend only purchasing from well known retailers like Toys R Us, Argos, Smyths Toys, The Entertainer, John Lewis etc.
