Did you order these specifically, or something else from another seller? Hopefully these don't have the same problem.
I actually bought some Baylis and Harding slippers as a gift for Christmas, and while they started out soft and fluffy, they're already flat, so it can happen to well kitten brands too.
The wife has already got eyes in the back of her head so this is another pair for her
