Ok - so we are now 100 days until Christmas and most children started their 2019 Christmas List in January.... A LOT of kids have asked for Nintendo Switches and my friends have asked me to look around for deals for them so I thought I'd do a thread with it all in the one place if you are looking for a Switch.
Worth noting, there is a "new" Switch console coming out shortly - the Switch Lite. This is slightly cheaper..... BUT you can't play it on a TV like you can with the "ordinary ones" just on the screen you get and you can't detach the controllers from the sides either so just be aware before buying this. It may suit you if its for on the go / handheld gaming but please just be aware what you can and can't do with it before you buy.
There is also a new version of the original Switch with improved battery life that has come out recently. You can tell if it's this version as it will say "2019 improved battery" on the description or 1.1 Version. They look exactly the same and do the same thing but the battery life has been improved from between 2.5 - 6.5 hours on the first models to between 4.5 and 9 hours on the newer version.
That said, its only really a consideration if you are using it in handheld mode so decide what is best for your situation and what you / your child will be using it for.
With the new models being released, there are some good deals around on the "older" first generation consoles.
This is the first generation console but great deal as the games are £40 each and if you want the same deal with the new improved battery it will cost you £309.99 - an extra £20
If you want to build your own bundle and just buy the Switch on its own and get the games closer to Christmas by waiting for eBay offers or Black Friday, you can get the console on its own.

Got one for my then 4yo last Xmas. It's his prize possession. Plus I get to play it when he's in bed it's a brilliant console with a massive library of new and remastered games and it's well worth the money.
Worth a look slightly cheaper than argos. I'm hoping that will be part of black friday sales fingers crossed thanks
Very interesting I've recently had my step son teaching me how to play Mario cart on his Nintendo switch, which I must add was quite enjoyable. I'm thinking maybe a little letter to Santa could bag my the lit version (not to push it to much) for Christmas thanks for sharing
