I lurve my Echo dot! She's saved me a fortune on my electricity bill alone. I used to flick my immersion heater on for hot water, and totally forget about it for days! Eee-ek! Now I tell Alexa to give me a 15 minute alarm call whenever I flick the immersion switch. I have another alarm call for 10.25am weekdays so I don't miss the quiz on Radio 2. Yes, I know it's sad...!

Such good value for money these devices, all you need is wifi
