This is not expired it's available to 1.5 Millom people you need to register
If you are one of the 1.5million who is considered most vulnerable and in complete lockdown, make sure you have registered on the government website.
You may have received a letter from the NHS telling you that you’re clinically extremely vulnerable, or been contacted by your GP or hospital clinician. If this has not happened by Monday 30 March, contact your GP or clinician after you register with this service.
It may take time for any support offered through this service to arrive. Wherever possible you should continue to rely on friends, family and wider support to help you meet your needs.
You can register yourself, or on behalf of someone else.
Pleased this is happening as too many vulnerable people and sitting quiet and struggling.
Hopefully now they will have some comfort
MelanieBaker it's not fake am trying to help I seen it on line I will upload a picture of the stuff included
yes its legit , registered my parents and they now get weekly groceries delivered . please note if you do not qualify as extremely vunerable the 2nd stage of vunerable has now started . the government and Drs have now made details available to main supermarkets . these details are then used to email you .the supermarket will recognise you and allow access to select delivery slots .Got mine last night through Sainsburys .£1 delivery charge
I have non hodgkins lymphoma (blood cancer) I am classed as extremely vulnerable I live with my wife who has diabetes insulin dependant and also classed as high risk. We have no family and our neighbours are elderly so I have no help for shopping. I have been told I will not get any food/help packages at all. How do I live?
hauntedwind am sorry to hear that do you not live in England not available anywhere else at moment. Could you email or tweet you local councillors ours are doing shopping for people who can't
hauntedwind think that’s because diabetes is not classed as highly vulnerable by government they took diabetes off the highly vulnerable list
hauntedwind my partner has hodgkin lymphoma and we arent class as vulnerable. Yet when we have read in to it you have to phone the dr who tells them you are but our dr wasn't available they are self isolating
That’s appalling, honestly, got more help and advice via fb than the government. Brilliant groups have sprung up that are legit. Both of us are high risk due to years of bad health, but have received texts to say that we won’t be receiving help. Hoping you will be okay.

Okay, I am in Derby, which isn't that far. I can come and drop whatever you need off on Wednesday, if that would be of any help? Please don't think you are alone, you and your wife matter to my family
Im In Walsall about 30 mins away im closer than anyone, im more than happy to help you!!!
Hauntedwind there are some lovely people on here. Angelaeverett01 I’m in Wales myself but you’ll be eligible for the food packages for definite. Also I did some googling https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/amazing-community-spirit-solihull-groups-17986586.amp. Take Care ***
Thank you. I just wish I could do more to help people. I would go tonight, but I don't get paid until weds. The thought of people being alone, or hungry breaks my heart because I know how it feels, so would do anything to help another person not feel that way, if that makes sense? ***
This is for those who meet the identified conditions on the gov.uk list, it excludes all those who were originally highlighted as vulnerable ie Over 70's, Diabetics, Chronic heart disease, Chronic kidney disease etc, this is not for them to access.....that's my understanding
summerdaze3 there is a very specific list, the government have classed people as vulnerable and extremely vulnerable, and those I've mentioned ain't on the list for this offer......
Oh this is fantastic. My dad is so vulnerable right now and this would help him out so much!
Thank you very much for sharing. I just passed this on to someone that I was worried about
Is there nothing for Scotland i have struggled to get anything delivered normally do. Online shop but haven't been able to get anything i already get my meds every mon delivered xx
My mother in law is 83, lives alone, has 1 kidney and alzheimers and dementia. We live quite far away but my husband has been dropping food off to her. I have a heart condition my husband has diabetes. My son is a nurse so he can't come near us. There is no one to help.
This is is a fantastic idea to help the ones that can not help them self but we need to help this country and help each other to fight this virus. Good luck everyone.
Really good to see that vulnerable people are getting some food packages. Especially since it has been difficult to book delivery slots.
This is brilliant for people that are really struggling, I just people don't abuse the system
Thank you for sharing this information, I can pass this onto my community support workers who are caring for these vulnerable people
Thank you for sharing, great initiative to support vulnerable people, I have passed this to my elderly neighbours
I received one of these letters a week ago. I registered online as i live on my own and my mum doesn’t drive. I’ve not heard anything back. I’ve tried to order from every supermarket for delivery but can’t and Sainsbury’s keeps telling me I will be able to when they’ve confirmed my identity, I’ve tried to ring several times and the phone gets disconnected. I’m considering just taking my chances and going the supermarket.
Mine arrived Saturday after registering over a week ago. You still have to register even if you got a letter. They are very minimal packages but supposedly contain enough for a week. thry Are all exactly The same.
That is what we are all having to do now since a lot of supermarkets are simply not delivering.
