Repairers include Halfords where you can already book an appointment (details shared by neo1 - https://www.latestdeals.co.uk/freebies/free-50-fix-bike-government-voucher-scheme-halfords). But note that booking via Halfords doesn't get you a voucher. You have to do that via the Government website.
Thank you very much for sharing information about bikes repair voucher scheme with us I will show this to my husband we got 2 bikes in our house my little son bike need new chain. Thanks once again.
Such a great idea to get people to use their bikes that were broken and we can all do our bit towards a greener planet
Fantastic! Currently got our two broken bikes not doing anything. Will look into this thabjs
I've had my bike sat broken in the garage for ages, so this seems like the perfect time to get it repaired and back out on it
This isn’t open to the public yet - read the information after clicking the “get deal” link. It’s only open to repairer businesses right now.
Wow That's a great offer. I do hope it becomes available in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. As my horse bent the wheel on my bike so be great to great it fixed.
Fab! Will def be getting two of these to get our bikes back up to spec as they’ve been in the cellar for a while! Thanks
My bikes been stored outside at my dad's,the tyre and inner tubes have perished,I don't go out at the moment so hopefully I can get the bike fixed,I have lights so I can go out at night or day...
How do we signup to recieve the vouchers?? As there is only an option for register as a repairer which we're not?
This is a great idea and I hope the people who deserve a voucher get one as I dare say it will be abused by some! Thanks
This is such a great deal but unfortunately when clicking through the link just now it said the page was not found, but around 11:20pm (when I was a bit too early) I clicked through the link and it showed the correct page.
I guess maybe I was a bit too late, thank you for sharing though!
Yeah, I've been trying for an hour last night after 23:45, but no luck. I gave up in the end
Cheers have shared with family. No luck at at launch, apparently up & running at 4am & all gone. Is this only for e-bikes?
As a key worker who had their old bike stolen and had to buy a cheap one that needs repairs I could really have done with this but I went on the website at 11.40 and it just didn't load. Ive tried for a couple of days but it said all the vouchers were gone :/
According to Martin Lewis, these are coming out in batches, a staggered release, to hopefully let everyone grab some.
Presumably it will run for a while and its 2 vouchers per household so once you've had the 2 vouchers you won't be able to repeat it so it should be available to most people given enough time.
