charliedsz I've used it but I've had to cancel it because of payment issues the company self but I'm going back with them soon probably in February because I need to get the charger port fixed on my iPhone they can ensure any phone that is second-hand brand new but they don't insure Chinese phones because it's not covered by it's not been made in the UK don't know why but don't ask them
I used it for my phone and they are very cheap if you accidentally dropped your phone a crack the screen you only pay like £50 and if your phone gets nicked you only pay 70 quid it's cheaper than paying out to apple the phone by accident you only paid 50 quid but if you go through the manufacture charging me 300 quid for the screen itself that's apple for you
deanmartinscott Always read the T&Cs very very carefully ! When LD advertise insurance based products such as this (Boiler cover comes to mind ?) they are not always as straightforward as appears ? As always I advise members to do their own research -no point in insurance (for the sake of an Amazon voucher ) when it doesn't apply to you ?

If I didn’t get mobile phone protection with my bank account, I would certainly be tempted to try this.
Mobiles are too cheap these days to require Insurance for them. And with this insurance cover working out at nearly £80 a year its not cheap, and if your phone is older than 3 years don't bother..... Your better off putting £10 away every month if you can, and by the time your mobile is 3 years old you'll have £360 to buy a new one.
After reading the term & conditions, I will give it a miss, don't insure Chinese made phones ect.. it works out at about £80 a year
