Kids Eat Free or for £1 - October Half Term Deals

With half term coming up soon, you're probably thinking of how you can you can entertain the kids without breaking the bank. I've rounded up some of the restaurants and cafes that are currently or will be having special kids offers on. Some of them offer a kids meal for free and some are just £1, though all are equally delicious.

Morrison's Cafe - Kids eat free

When you purchase one adult meal from £4.99 you can get one free meal all day from the kids menu, which includes a piece of fruit and a Tropicana Kids Orange or Apple drink or a bottle of water. This offer excludes all café specials and the free meal must from the customer café kids menu or chilled kids snack pack. The child must be under 16 years of age and present at the time of purchase.

Asda Cafe - Kids eat for £1

This offer is valid all day every day at Asda cafes, plus there's no minimum adult spend required. This offer was introduced in July this year and has now been extended until the end of year, meaning it's currently available and will be even when October half term ends.

Tesco - Kids eat free with a Clubcard

When you spend as little as 60p, you can get one free kid's meal worth up to £3.25 this half term. You'll need a Tesco Clubcard, which you can show in any of their 311 cafes across the UK. This offer will be running on weekdays between 17th and 28th October in England and Scotland, and between 31st October and 4th November for Northern Ireland and Wales.

Sizzling Pubs - Kids eat for £1

You can take the family out for a meal at a Sizzling pub without feeling guilty because for every adult meal, you’ll also get a kid’s main meal for just £1. From Monday to Friday, between 3pm and 7pm, you can get a kids’ main meal for £1 for every 1 adult main meals purchased in the same transaction. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with our breakfast or any other offer or set menu. All food must be ordered at the same time.

Frankie & Benny's - Adults eat free

That's right, Frankie & Benny's are switching up their offer and letting adults have one free meal for every child's set menu meal purchased. The idea is to give parents a break over the half term, as well as a treat during the cost of living crisis. You'll have to sign up to their email newsletter and you'll be sent a QR code, which you can show in the restaurant, plus all kids must be under 11. The deal is available from October 17th to 21st in Scotland, October 24th to 28th in England, and October 31st to November 4th in Northern Ireland and Wales.

Farm House Inn - Kids eat for £1

You can get a kids meal for just £1 at Farm House Inn, which includes a Junior Carvery, when you purchase an adult meal. This offer applies to two adults and two children and is valid Monday - Saturday from 17th – 29th October. Just make sure you sign up to the Farm House Inn newsletter and you'll receive a voucher, which you can present at your restaurant.
