An excellent price for this chip, and piggy it backs off 02 network. Thanks for sharing this great deal.
Mandie09 it's strange that 02 are still quiet expensive. I remember when I got a sim only deal from Giffgaff (they run off 02 too) and it was less than half what O2 wanted to charge for almost exact package. You'd think as these companies have to pay 02 for using their network they would be higher pricing
What a great find. My contract is up soon, so will definitely be looking into this chip. Thank you for posting it.
Thank you for sharing this is a huge saving! I will take a look at this deal now. Anyone e used this provider before?
Hana12 I'm using Lyca myself now as I signed up for this offer few weeks ago and I haven't had any problems . So far, so good
Perfect! Needed a sim for my daughters watch this will be great thank you for sharing this deal
I've given it a go again as I've already got a Lebara sim card already but that's I've lost the SIM card and I don't know where it is when you advertised it and can not going to the bank
what a fantastic offer!!! Just signed up
Im on pay as you go so this is fantastic 6p for 6 months!!!!
6 months is really good, nice find.
I'm stuck with Three until 2024, but already paid in credit so it's essentially done and once I reach the end of the contract I'll move (PAC) my number over to RWG (went with the £15 bundle).
And also have Sky Mobile which was supposedly "free for life," except they'll charge £1/pm in 2025 (36m contract). Not sure what I'll do with it so I'll wait until 2025. Maybe a family member will want it.
PhilipMarc unfortunately all the doing at it's the in-depth IP retail index retail price index I'm with O2 I have to pay like £7 something from April it's ridiculous I know it's stupid but Lycamobile will be desert the same so it's not skyspa it's not notice far is this retail price index what mark is it up
Excellent - my contract is up soon so I will bear this Lyca Mobile SIM card offer in mind!
Thanks I needed a new sim for my spare phone and this is perfect so with the 3Gb of data.
I've just registered for this deal. I already had 5 Sims from Lebara for the same price. This is just another company offering the same deal. 12 p for a year . Unbelievable deal. . Just a bit shy of the amount of data I'd like . But good
I'm in contract till June and will cost me £33 to leave the contract. Feel like it's still worth doing at 1p a month for 6 months. Thanks for the post.
lama666 yeah I had that same problem I've just got the sim card pay 1p and I only get 100 minutes and as it waste of time
annemoore001 there's a comment below saying to dial*190# from mobile to cancel . Then follow the automated instructions, don't have to talk to anyone
just signed up - for my son - this is plenty for him and wont be able to go over the 3gb of data - thank you
Sim arrived today (it's a backup) and I've already got two people to sign up for it now. One for her grandkid and another friend got one as a spare too.
I’ve got one of these Lyca sims (I thought I’d give it a try for 1penny , what’s there to lose) . I was surprised the sim was sent my Evri courier (I mean I paid one pence , how much did Lyca pay for courier?) . Once you receive the sim you have to put it into your phone (obviously) and key in a code that you will have been sent my email to activate your one penny plan .
You have to key in *116* YOUR CODE #
Once that’s done you’re all set. It has good coverage and I’ve been happy with it . Only thing that was strange was when you activate sim your allowance comes up on screen (unlimited calls , unlimited texts ) , strangely it stated unlimited data?????
I haven’t used much data and in all correspondence it read 3GB data . So I don’t know how that worked . I doubt there is unlimited data just probably a glitch with the wording . ????
Nickyhaslam77 Hi, Thank you for letting us know, that's super helpful for other members. Also, if you don't want to continue with it, all you need to do is dial *190# from your mobile and follow the instructions so you don't even need to speak to anyone. I have added some bonus points on your account as well, thank you!
emmabeckz thank you very much for that . I wanted to share my experience because often ppl see these great deals and think they too good to be true and maybe miss out . Therefore a bit of honest feedback I find can help me make my mind up , as it’s helpful to me . I just hope others find it helpful too .
Nickyhaslam77 Yep people are suspicious and its great to know your feedback thank you!
emmabeckz I was a bit dubious at first , thinking how can they even make the sim for one penny etc ? But as it was a penny I thought I’d nothing to lose (except my penny ? LOL ) but very glad I took the chance . Many of my family are wanting to get the same deal so I can now show them this because I wasn’t sure if the promotion was still on .
You can also transfer your number over from the provider you are using now by texting PAC to 65075 from old sim then go to “Transfer your number/ Lycamobile UK. “
I haven’t done that myself but thought it be helpful to know if anyone wanted to keep their phone number
Nickyhaslam77 Thanks for your helpful comment! We've added some bonus points to your account to say thank you
Nickyhaslam77 that's what I usually do when I see a good deal like this one. Thank you for your comments
