If you are going to Lisbon, you can not miss the tram 28. This is a line of tram that goes around the whole city, and you can go from one end to the other. Paris is one of my favourite cities in the world. It’s crazy how they have so much to do here, especially if you are visiting for a long time. All of the attractions are so carefully planned out so you can see the best of the city. I love walking down the Champs-Élysées and seeing all of the beautiful shops, the Arc De Triomphe, the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, etc. It’s just so beautiful. I love taking the metro to the Eiffel Tower at night because it’s so beautiful with all of the lights on. It’s great to try the different foods here because everything is so delicious! However, a heads-up that Paris can be expensive, so I tend to buy my own food at supermarkets and cook in the rented apartment.
Rome
- Nov 20–26
- Ryanair
- Nonstop
- 2 hr 40 min
- £20
Via del Corso, a pedestrian-only street, is a great place to walk. Saint Peter’s Basilica is also a must visit. What is the food like there? Italian cuisine is a true delight. The food is very tasty, and there is a wide variety of choices. The nightlife is very vibrant. Rome is considered to be one of the party capitals of Europe. There are a lot of museums and art galleries.
Madrid
- Nov 14–22
- Ryanair
- Nonstop
- 2 hr 40 min
- £20
The best things to do in Madrid are to visit the museums and the city center. The museums are a good way to learn about the history of Madrid and experience the art of Spanish painters. The city center is a great place to walk around and experience the Spanish culture.
Milan
- Nov 4–10
- Ryanair
- Nonstop
- 2 hr 10 min
- £20
Milan is a large city and is host to many museums and churches. The Duomo, Milan Cathedral, is the heart of the city and is the most notable of the many churches. The city is also home to the Castello Sforzesco, which was the residence of the Visconti and Sforza families. The city is very busy during the summer months, so the best times to visit are the off-season months.
Barcelona
- Nov 29–Dec 8
- Ryanair
- Nonstop
- 2 hr 20 min
- £30
If your kids want to visit a zoo, go to the Barcelona Zoo, which is located in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona. A visit to the zoo is a great way to spend a morning or afternoon. In addition to its large collection of animals, the zoo is home to a reproduction of a historic Iberian farmhouse.
Another thing to do with children is to visit one of the city's many parks. Barcelona's largest park is the Parc de la Ciutadella, which is located in the Ciutadella-Vila Olímpica district. Plaça de la Catedral and Plaça del Rei are two of the most popular parks in the Gothic Quarter.
