Went on a fire training course a few years back and were strongly advised against these type of adaptors as if all the sockets in use it could cause it to drop a bit with the weight and potential fire risk. Better to use a trailing adaptor.
Not just that but all these sockets with USB sockets have a circuit board inside that heats up - stupid idea never, ever, ever, ever buy these type of things and leave them on all day as the USB circuit is always on - quite apart from the fact its constantly consuming electricity even if its just a few Ma A FEW QUID DEVICE COULD COST YOU THE PRICE OF A HOUSE OR A LIFE!

Its like stacking power blocks but worse as these contain usb circuits - how do you think it transforms 240volts into 5 volts in such a small space the electronics have to be especially good to do this which they are not in these things!
These things are a danger on their own - the usb circuit is on all the time consuming leccie and could set your house on fire!
Nah I am an electronics engineer and would never plug these things in and leave em on even worse are the leccie sockets with usb ports that housebuilders are now installing - just google the facts they are an electrical nightmare waiting to happen!
