What is Advanced Ceramic?

Advanced Ceramic is a sol-gel based ceramic coating widely used in the industry as a premium ceramic coating. Heats quickly up to 230 degrees Celsius

The Remington Sleek and Smooth Hair Straightener helps you stay in control with a variable heat control ranging from 150 to 230 degrees Celsius. With its easy to read digital display and temperature lock, you can decide the heat level that’s right for you. Want to keep it cool and mild? Push the minus button repeatedly to decrease the temperature. Want to turn up the heat? Switch to the plus button and push repeatedly instead until you reach the high maximum of 230 degrees Celsius.

Secure the chosen temperature with the LCD lock which prevents you from accidentally changing the temperature. Or if you want a short, sharp burst of extra heat, hit the turbo boost for an instant shot of power.

Don't know what temperature to choose? If you have:

Coloured, bleached or fine hair--lower heat settings are advisable.

Normal hair--opt for a mid range temperature.

Coarse or thick hair--crank it up with the maximum heat settings.

Long, slim, floating plates for silky strokes

Every dimension of the Sleek and Smooth's plates makes it easy and effortless to use. They measure a long 110 millimetres (mm) in length meaning you can style more of your hair in one stroke, while the plates are slim allowing them to fit neatly in your hand without feeling uncomfortable and chunky. They are also floating to ensure even pressure distribution throughout.
