How to choose your hybrid bike size

4 sizes available: Size S: 1.50 m to 1.65 m tall. Size M: 1.66 m to 1.77 m tall. Size L: 1.78 m to 1.89 m tall. Size XL: 1.90 m to 2.01 m tall. If you are on the edge between 2 sizes: Choose the smaller size for greater manoeuvrability and comfort (straighter back). Choose the larger size for a more stretched out position (better suited to speed).

Aluminium frame.Lifetime warranty.

The frame is made from 6061 aluminium to make it light and comfortable. It has a lifetime warranty. The deliberate bend in the top tube makes standing over the bike when stationary more comfortable.

9-speed drivetrain

The single chainring drivetrain makes life easier: Change between the speeds using a single shifter. The range of speeds is designed for riding over small hills. - BTWIN SL569 speed shifter - MICROSHIFT H092 9-speed cassette. - Cogs: 11/ 36. - Single chainring: 36 teeth.- KMC X9 chain with quick release. - Rear derailleur: BTWIN RD M46-L. - Anti-derailment ring.

Mechanical disc brakes

We decided on disc brakes for easier braking and better efficiency.

Comfortable, dynamic Trekking position

Our Trekking bikes are designed for a 60° riding position, a good compromise between urban bikes and more sporty bikes. This position guarantees comfort, good manoeuvrability and propulsion. - Semi-raised handlebars. Width: 620 mm - 1-1/8" aluminium stem. - "Ahead set" semi-integrated 1-1/8" headset. - Two aluminium adjustment rings ("spacers"), 5 mm high. - Ergonomic handles that guarantee a good hand/wrist alignment.

Trekking front suspension

Get the most out of your rides thanks to the suspension fork that keeps you comfortable on all terrains. Easily adjust the damping with a knob. 60mm travel Coil fork 1-1/8" steel pivot

Trekking saddle

Because it's important that your seat position is adapted to your riding style, our teams developed the exclusive B'Twin Ergofit Sport 500 saddle. - Aluminium seat post, graduated for easier adjustment. - Collar dimensions = 32 mm. - Seat post diameter = 27.2 mm. - Tool-free saddle height adjustment (quick-release).

Versatile tyres for roads & trails.

The Riverside 500 is equipped with B'Twin Trekking hybrid road and trail tyres so you can go anywhere. The recommended pressure is a minimum of 2 bar and a maximum of 4 bar (details on tyre sidewall). Dimensions: 700 x 38 (38-622).Minimum dimensions in width: 28mm

TYRE COMPATIBILITY

If you find that you need to fit wider tyres on your bike, you can. Maximum dimensions with the Riverside mudguard: 42mm (ETRTO 42-622 standard) Maximum dimensions without mudguard: 47mm (ETRTO 47-622 standard) We have also tested wider tyres that are compatible with the City 9 (44-622), with mudguards and the TLE evolution (50-622) without a mudguard. The width can vary, all 44 and 50 tyres are not always compatible.

Platform pedals

The Riverside 500 is supplied with versatile pedals with a wide pedalling surface to help keep the foot on the pedal.
