• 10 YEAR AGED: The single malt scotch whisky is matured for ten years before a quarter of the spirit is finished in oloroso sherry casks to develop a smoky, complex flavour.
• TASTING NOTES: Expect a rich, powerful sherry on the nose, with a well-balanced yet forceful flavour delivery. A red apple sweetness gives way to oaken-vanilla goodness and fades into embers of a chargrilled well-aged steak.
• THE SERVE: Seaweed & Aeons & Digging & Fire can be enjoyed with freedom. It’s excellent sipped neat over ice but works well with a mixer of choice, or in a classic winter hot toddy.

The inspiration for &Whisky was simply to present an impeccable range of whiskies in a no nonsense approach. No mentions or images of impressive dates, coats of arms or old regal deer. &Whisky is here to simplify choosing whisky by simply stating everything you need to know about the whisky or its flavour on the front label. No fuss, no long and whimsical paragraphs, just delicious whisky delivering exactly what it says on the bottle, and priced in a way to appeal to every drinker.

This right here is a 10-year-old single malt from an undisclosed distillery on Islay, with 25% of it having been finished in first-fill oloroso sherry casks, and bestowed the decidedly descriptive name Seaweed & Aeons & Digging & Fire. If those four words (and three ampersands) aren't quite enough of an explanation of what this expression is all about, here are a few more: stripped-back, smoky, complex, a bit sherried, balanced, coastal. Yeah, that should do it. Great for people who love uncompromising Islay whisky and sans-serif fonts.

This is whisky without tradition, without the fancy labels and lingo, contemporary whisky without convention. This is whisky simplified.
