• Firstly, the details state that this duvet cover set is teal blue in colour. You can see from the photo that it is white and grey and the coloured part at the bottom that is referred to as teal blue looks green and in reality it is and there is no blue in sight! It’s a nice shade of green but It’s worth pointing out as sometimes the photo does not match the description and this is definitely a case in point.
• I ordered the double size which fits a standard double duvet and you also get two pillow cases which have the same pattern. The cover and pillowcases are both reversible with a plain grey reverse side. The set is made from sustainably resourced polycotton and is what I would describe as a mid range type fabric, in that it’s not amazingly brilliant or not shockingly bad it just fits somewhere in the middle. Unfortunately, the finishing is quite poor but it’s not as bad as it could be as you don’t notice it too much unless you look closely.
• You can wash this at 40°C and, as it is not that thick, it dries quite quickly. It definitely needs ironing as it creases a lot but it’s a bit of a waste of time really because as soon as you finish ironing, you fold it and it creases again and by the time you get out of the airing cupboard to put on the bed it’s creased even more! This is something that has happened many times with other brands of bedding, so it’s not a complete surprise, but I just wish it didn’t happen as I hate ironing!
• Overall, this is an okay duvet cover but it could be better. I think for the price the material finishing should be better quality. I am ambivalent about the pattern as I think it would look better with the black line running through it but obviously that’s a personal preference and others may feel differently. On a positive note it is quite comfortable to sleep under, stays in place and doesn’t bunch up which some cheaper fabrics do.'
