Playtonic has confirmed that at launch Yooka-Laylee on Switch will be a digital-only game but a physical release may be in the works for the coming months.
While the cheapest eShop store price costs less than the UK eShop, it's still more than what a PS4/XO physical copy can go for (Base had it at £11.95 but they've increased to £30.79, now the cheapest is at TGC for £21.95). It is indeed overpriced (typical case of Switch games).
Between spending money on Yooka-Laylee or Sonic Forces, Yooka-Laylee is definitely the better platformer.
But I digress, here are the list of eShop prices.
eShop Price Comparison
South Africa - £28.58
Norway - £28.59
Mexico - £28.87
America - £29.93
