Asda Brings Back £2 Christmas Eve Boxes & Shoppers Are Loving Them

Image

This year, Asda has re-introduced their popular Christmas Eve boxes at an unbeatable price of just £2. These aren't just any boxes – they're a festive tradition, a way to bring joy without breaking the bank.

In the current economic climate, where every penny counts, finding budget-friendly yet meaningful Christmas items is crucial. These Asda boxes are a perfect example. Not only are they affordable, but shoppers have attested to their durability, and they should last for years. This isn't just a purchase; it's an investment in years of festive joy.

The boxes come in two delightful designs, featuring festive characters and messages from Santa's Elves, adding that special touch of Christmas magic. They're sizable enough to be packed with a variety of goodies – from pyjamas to chocolates, making them ideal for a special Christmas Eve surprise for kids.

Salma Ouaguira at The Sun reported that alongside these boxes, savvy shoppers have also found bargains on Cadbury selection boxes and Lush's new Snow Fairy sets, proving that a little research can lead to significant savings during the festive season.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented on this trend: "Finding quality Christmas essentials at low prices is a win for consumers. Asda's Christmas Eve boxes are a perfect example of retailers catering to budget-conscious shoppers without compromising on the festive spirit."

Remember, it's not just about the price tag. It's about creating memorable experiences without the financial stress. Happy bargain hunting this festive season!

The whole concept of a Christmas Eve box is another crass imposition on parents, who are under enough pressure at this time of year. It's dispiriting that some fools increase the cost of the bounty they provide for their little darlings every year, so poorer families feel ever more despondent, but now they're expected to offer extra goodies that wouldn't have been contemplated when my lads were younger. I have no idea how this started, but it seems like cynical marketing by people who care nothing for the feelings of those unable to afford yet more gifts.

gothvixen completely agree. Christmas has lost its meaning and everyone is just spending more needlessly and getting into debt to try to keep their children happy. When I was a kid it wasn't about how much was spent but lots of little inexpensive gifts that meant something !

gothvixen my mum was doing me Christmas eve boxes 35 years ago. It's not a new thing. Basically a new pair of PJs (that I would have got anyway) and a small toy that she would have got from the newsagents (£2 tops) and some chocolate coins. Doesn't have to be mad expensive.

I totally agree Tom. Kids are so excited on xmas eve, a xmas eve box with a few little items to occupy their minds and tire them out is just the ticket. Early to bed, as they are always early to rise on xmas morning.

I just wish people would stop using that bloody word xmas!

I hate it!!!!!! It's CHRISTMAS stop being so lazy people and use the proper word, please.

I'm not gonna start getting all religious, that's not why I think we should use Christmas. Think about it, when you meet family or friends, do you actually say "Merry xmas" to them or do you say "Merry Christmas"?

I think most would say Christmas. So, if that's the case, you say Christmas in person, why oh why, do you write xmas?

Have a merry Christmas everyone!

P.S By the way, my spellcheck doesn't like the word either, it kept telling me to change it and write the correct word.
