Where To Find The Cheapest Fireworks This Bonfire Night

Image

Hey Deal Hunters, Bonfire Night is nearly here and it's time to light up the sky without setting your bank balance on fire. If you're on the hunt for the sparkliest deals on fireworks, you've come to the right place.

Keira Clarke at The Sun has shared insights on where to get your bang for the buck. ASDA, often a go-to for bargains, is surprisingly not the winner in the fireworks game this year, with prices igniting up to £239! Lidl and Aldi, on the other hand, offer more wallet-friendly sparkles, starting at 50p.

ASDA

ASDA is definitely not the cheapest destination for fireworks this year, with prices starting from a whopping £65, and going to £239! A box of 360 sparklers will cost you £65, or a smaller box of 100 shot standard Witchcraft Single Ignition Fireworks is £75.

Lidl

Lidl is offering much better value than ASDA this Bonfire Night, and you can get a four pack of firework shot tubes for just £4.99. Or, a 10 pack of sparklers will set you back just £1.99.

Aldi

Aldi's sparklers are a bargain this year, and you can pick up a pack of 10 for just 80p. They're also selling Razzle Dazzle fireworks for £6.99, or opt for their Quiet Skies fireworks box for £9.99.

Morrisons

But the crown for the most economical explosive delights goes to Morrisons, in partnership with Direct Fireworks, offering prices as low as 50p for sparklers and £25 for a 20 Shot Fan Barrage.

Let's not forget, some retailers like Sainsbury's have stepped back from the fireworks market due to concerns over the distress caused to pets and wildlife.

Before rushing out, remember to check local regulations and remember you must be 18 or older to purchase. For more tips and shared stories, join The Sun Money Facebook group.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, says, “Fireworks can be pricey, but with the right research, you can find some real gems that offer a spectacle without splurging.”

Remember, the best deal is a safe and fun Bonfire Night!

Big respect to Sainsbury for backing out of selling this garbage! Instead of buying fireworks, donate to an animal charity for the unbearable distress fireworks can cause.
