It has been this price for a while everywhere. Watch out for eBay discount codes because sellers with Apple Macbooks come up on that every so often and they get even cheaper.
Dennab Yes very true . I would buy if it was £500 range . Intel is introducing Alder Lake CPUs with DDR 5 and PCI 5 bus soon with Windows 11 release. I expect major price drops once new platform launches . New generation of M1 , M1X coming soon as well. I would only buy the 16gb M1 model as ram is Soldered and cannot be upgraded. Ram determines if multitasking is possible or not otherwise system start to slow down due to page faults even with very fast SSD . Life of SSD. In M1 models is very limited due to low ram.
samoflondon I have the M1 Air (the one in this post) and the performance is amazing. It was only 550 quid nearly new (I got 10% off) as well from eBay as well so there are bargains to be had.
