Looks a decent action camera for the money. Uses a decent Novatek chipset and a Sony 12MP sensor. Please note like many budget action cameras the 4k mode is fake I believe as the 4k resolution is interpolated up from about 2k and its only 24fps anyway which is unusable for most people. The 2k mode is the one to use for resolution but like most action cameras 1080p 60fps is what is most used. Same with images, no point going above 12MP as the sensor is only 12MP.16MP and 20MP just waste space and battery.
However that said it seems a great deal for the spec, comes with a lot of accessories and you get 2 batteries in the pack which they claim are high capacity batteries, 1350mAh. The camera does have gyro stabilisation although cannot vouch for how good this is but the fact it has it beats most action cameras at anywhere near this price.
Bear in mind many low cost action cameras, Robert Dyas, Argos, ebay, Amazon at this price point can feature low end sensors between 1.3-4MP and more basic chipsets like Generalplus and Allwinner V3.
If you rated action cameras between 1 and 10 with 1 being terrible and 10 being amazing this would probably rate a 4 to 6 where as action cameras at this price point would typically be between 1 and 3.

GUIDES
Much appreciated. Yes you definitely need to be wary on this site there are many posters of terrible deals. Most of the recent action cameras listed have been very basic and poor value and in fact you can find better cameras easily for less. Often its the same people posting these terrible deals so you get to just ignore them though. I'm not saying this £20 camera is the best out there but it is a lot of camera for £20 and similar cameras are still be sold for up to about 40-60.
This is a brilliant post, thanks BonzoBanana for such a detailed description
I commented because I was genuinely surprised. If I was after something like an action camera, I wouldn't look on here for the reasons highlighted by BonzoBanana. I would most certainly go to HUKD Kelsey because I know that if a deal on there is 'hot' it's 1. Likely to be good and 2. Has been posted by someone who has gone out there and found it after maybe an hour or more of shopping round. On here, it's more likely that they have nipped onto Amazon, done a search and come out with the first action camera they see with an apparent price reduction. I'm talking about quality over quantity. Anyway, I'm sure you know where I'm coming from and it's ultimately your business
I have a very similar one to this that we took to Egypt when allowed and got some fabulous video of snorkelling in the sea well worth it for that alone! I would post but 8 minutes long. great bit of kit for the price
BonzoBanana I have just added some extra points to your account for all the detail you went into with this great post - thank you very much
First glances quality is decent and can be used as a webcam, with a slight delay, although settings can't be changed (expose for example). Cant really compare how the IMX117 goes with other modern cameras (this was released in 2016). Low light performance lacks detail, but useable if you can do away with the fine detail and illumination is uniform.
The app is somewhat buggy and usb mass storage with the phone can be hit and miss (quicker to use a usb card reader).
There is no internal memory with this camera. You must use an SD card.
Limited range of features while WiFi is enabled.
Good range of accessories. One thing to have in mind is tripod compatibility... There is an accessory one can stick to the camera using a double side tape, but blocks access to the battery compartment and as a tape... It can not be reused.
When using the case, a larger number of accessories can be used, but unless you drill into it, the USB connector is blocked. Essentially anything that requires more runtime than the battery can provide or a usb connectivity will be a problem.
My veredict... As a web cam replacement and a cheap camera for time lapse it was a good purchase. Photo quality is probably not as good as most modern mid range phone camera lenses, but better than many cheap webcams and definitively good value for £20 shipped!
If you don't mind the difficulties holding it to a tripod ( drilling into the case or case without usb / charge or permanently glued to the tripod mount without access to the battery compartment, its a good camera with a good range of accessories.
How well does the stabilisation work and is it available for all modes or only some? Does putting it on make much difference?
Most of your points apply to most action cameras. Seems to be old stock it was a mid-range chinese action camera in 2017/2018. I assume you can fit a tripod adapter to the case it comes with and maybe the case has an open back replacement door to allow sound through? Maybe you need a double adapter for the tripod mount female/female. Does the stabilisation/anti-shake reduce the field of view, like 170 down to 140 degrees typical of electronic stabilisation?
Anything wrong in my description or the ebay page?
Deal has now expired. It did come with a wide range of accessories including a non waterproof open black case with tripod mounts on the top and bottom of the case.
The chipset is Novatek and unsure about the sensor I think its a Sony sensor but may not be the 12MP model they claim but in fact an 8MP model. Still very good for the price and doesn't effect video just still images. When using video you must check that stabilisation is enabled, it is a symbol on the screen. If you enable certain features the symbol disappears so you know the video will not be stabilised. I think the obvious one is you have to enable the gyro sensor and it maybe you have to reduce the field of view not sure. Anyway if the stabilisation symbol is on the screen its working but remember stabilisation works much better at 60fps than 30fps because the images are more similar at 60fps because of their faster frequency. Also HDR may need to be off for stabilisation to work. For those who bought one its a great camera at the price but there is a learning curve to getting the most from it.
Don't forget wifi rapidly drains the battery so best really to keep it off if you can.
FN cam seems to work quite well with it. You can't seem to select the correct resolutions from the app but most of the other features work and the app that victsing recommends has not been updated for years so you can't really use that one.
