Yummy bite-sized chocolate Easter eggs, beautifully decorated and proudly home-made… if that sounds like something you’d like to make but think you lack the necessary skills, our Eggs and Chicks Silicone Mould is ready to change your mind – it couldn’t be easier to use.
Just melt your chocolate, pour it into the individual moulds and leave to set in the fridge – that’s it. You’ll end up with 12 half egg shapes decorated with swirly stripes and flowers, ready to ‘glue’ together with a little melted chocolate and turn into six ready-to-gift eggs. The other 12 moulds feature chirpy hatching chicks, which aren’t designed to be stuck together to make eggs, but will look lovely topping Easter cakes or cupcakes just as they are.
Versatile
Suitable for use with a madeira cake mix too, your little bakes will be easy to decorate with icing as you can follow the existing patterns, though they’ll look lovely left plain too. You could also create brightly coloured icing or Candy Button egg halves to finish off a festive showstopper, and because the mould is freezer safe, you can also make tasty frozen treats like sorbets or cute ice cream shapes to accompany your desserts.
Easy-release
Oven safe up to 230°C and made from flexible, food-safe silicone that’s BPA, PFOA and PTFE free, the naturally non-stick mould allows your yummy creations to be released with ease, and it’s dishwasher safe too.
