According to the company:

The HUAWEI MatePad T8 runs on Android 10 Open-Source, using Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) and the latest EMUI 10.0.1.

Google Apps and Google Mobile Services are not available for the HUAWEI MatePad T8, which may also result in some other apps not being available or compatible at the moment.

However, the HUAWEI MatePad T8 has access to many top apps via the HUAWEI AppGallery and Petal Search tool. You can download the Petal Search app from the App Gallery which is a dedicated app search tool to help you find apps that you can’t locate in the AppGallery, whether from an official link or third party app store.
