Great price for a laptop! I've been looking for one that I can use for basic things, and this will do nicely. Thanks for sharing.
my mate rang last night asking if i knew any deals on laptops best she saw was on argos £100 will show her this as the laptop better than the other thank you for sharing this deal
love this deal, what a great price! Perfect gift idea, thanks for finding this and sharing it with us
This is amazing value. We need a new laptop as ours is really old now. Thanks for sharing.
Needs at least 8GB RAM. 4GB is just about serviceable at best.
And 64GB of storage? Only for the essentials, really.
I would love to have your knowledge PhilipMarc. I’m trying to surprise my teenage son but I’m very much useless with this stuff Thank you x
mso If you have a budget of £150 ~ £200, it's worth checking on eBay auctions and notebooks (basically a laptop without a disc drive) in very good to excellent condition. With 8GB RAM, 512GB ~ 1TB, and such.
I'd recommend also using a sniping tool, so you just set a price and stick to it rather than go on a bidding war (pay more than you'd want). Myibidder is brilliant, been using it for years and years.
Wow that’s a lot of info that I totally needed it PhilipMarc. I also never knew about the tools and I use eBay a lot Thank you so much for taking the time x
AlisonLawr80600 Yep. People can get better deals on eBay, but of course, it has no warranty so there's that.
I bought a notebook on eBay for £160 that costs £270 on Argos (Asus VivoBook 17). Admittedly it was pretty laggy and slow like the reviews mention though after changing the OS to the one I normally use (Windows 10 LTSC) it runs smoothly fast.
That has extended life support until 2029 so I won't be changing to Windows 11 anytime soon (don't like 11, anyway).
The Asus (same price) is arguably a better deal (offers 12 hours battery life) and has a free slot for an SSD so you can easily have more & faster memory. Also the design of the Asus is much nicer
My sister was looking for a laptop for her young daughter so i will tell her to check this out. Thanks for sharing
Half of the comment are fake or people in 2022 really buy laptop just because it is cheap. Don't mention 11inch and other spec of it. Would be nice if they put photos with order number or confirmation. Using web browser will be lagging on it.
I am now totally confused it’s either totally crap or is it a good deal and good enough for my 9 year old ?
AlexandraBoyd Hey I'd recommending taking a look at the reviews on the website - hope this helps
