Natural History Museum x Dunelm
The By Night Candle is part of the Signature collection. This very special collaboration has been influenced by the Natural History Museum’s incredible building. First opened in 1881, the Museum is now considered a work of art in its own right. Alfred Waterhouse, a young architect from Liverpool, used a mixture of Gothic Revival and twelfth-century Romanesque-style architecture, in line with Museum founder Sir Richard Owen’s vision of creating a ‘cathedral to nature’. Taking inspiration from the Museum’s unique architectural details and unmistakable Victorian décor, our contemporary collection makes it possible to bring a piece of natural history into your home.
