First of all, this toothbrush charger comes as a 2 pin plug. If you have a shavers plug socket in your bathroom, this may not necessarily be an issue for you. However, I do not and had to spend a further £3 to buy an adapter from John Lewis plus another £3 plus postage as we are in the middle of a pandemic and I cannot go into the store to buy one. So all together I have near enough spent almost £70 on this toothbrush.

But anyway, I digress. The plug situation is only a minor and didn't bother so much at the time. I have had this toothbrush for 3 weeks. It worked well for 2 weeks and now it no longer works. I literally cannot brush my teeth twice a day as recommended without the battery dying by the evening. Very annoying especially as it takes 12 hours to charge so when I put it on charge overnight, it's not even ready for me to use in the morning. Even more frustrating is that it said that the battery life should last 2 weeks before having to be charged again. FALSE.

I remember reading the bad reviews on this toothbrush and thinking maybe a few people got unlucky....however, there was definitely more than just a few people who have had problems with this toothbrush and I should have listened to them.

I refuse to believe that such a prestigious dental company and brand such as Oral B would be making products of this foul quality and therefore, this leads me to believe that maybe the product is not an original Oral B toothbrush.

Nonetheless, if you have come across a lot of bad reviews on this product and now you are reading mine, let this one be your last and just don't buy it.

Very disappointing.

I like the toothbrush but was extremely disappointed when i've realized that the charger was made of a short 2-pin plug, meaning it is not like EU standards as too short, and doesn't fit UK 3 pin reqs either. What a terrible CX! How can a leading company like Oral B not adapt their chargers to the country they are selling to, especially when it's for a market as big as UK!

Otherwise the toothbrush is okay but I find that the different features, incl. connection to the app and timer, are not really useful in our day to day lives: who really wants to stress when brushing their teeth, checking their phone to assess frequency and time, like they would do for an intense run or workout? If I were to buy an electric brush again, I would prefer to buy a simpler - and cheaper! - alternative.

Battery life is horrible due to the Bluetooth transceiver. I found I don’t use the app or Bluetooth functionality at all.

I wished I had gone for the cheaper model which I think uses the same battery, but since it doesn’t use a wireless connection for any functions it will last longer.

I’m kinda missing my Phillips sonic.

The good thing about the oral B units is that the head provides better access to all corners. Much better than the Phillips unit does.

The action is rather rough and feels like someone using a hammer drill on my teeth. But then again, my previous unit was a Phillips sonic, which has ultra light resonance vibrations.

Unfortunately the Phillips one lasted me only 2 years whereas my previous oral b unit , simple one) lasted me some 5 years or so.

A few months ago my Phillips electric toothbrush died.

I looked on Amazon and saw a Fairywill that was that cheap and with so many 5 star reviews that I had to buy it.

Anyway... A few month later still and I wasn't convinced. Although I clean my teeth regularly I could feel plaque building up on the inside of my back molars..

So.. I looked on Amazon again and this toothbrush came up. So I bought it.

OMG. It so good. It is really powerful and the brushead is mega. I have clean teeth and a big smile again.

I know it's a long review but I think my new toothbrush desurves it.

I love this brush. Weirdly I like the app - even though I know I always clean twice a day for over 2 minutes. I obviously like being (electronically) patted on the head like a good girl. It replaces my old electric brush and the three speeds work well. I like the flashing light if I press too hard, I am pleased to know that generally I don't. Excellent brush. Changed from a much more expensive Sonicare on advise from Peridontist. Teeth feel cleaner. Bought to replace the older version, this one lasted 3 weeks on a full charge and also charges in a matter of hours, it was flashing for a charge the whole of week 3 but I didn't have the charger with me on holiday and it managed to survive used twice daily.
