Is it just me who’s mystified why electric toothbrushes are so goddamn expensive? Why?? This is the reason I still haven’t bought one after all these years. £69.99 is still a little too steep for my liking.
EarlyWorm you can get an electric toothbrush for £20 or perhaps even less but it will clean your teeth the same as a normal brush. These brushes have multiple speeds, can warn you when you use too much pressure, if you have been brushing for long enough, can tell you if you’ve “missed a bit” and even after one use your teeth feel much cleaner.
I would never pay £200 + for a toothbrush but I have had my more expensive toothbrush which cost me £60 for about 18 months now.
Even though I was using a £20 electric toothbrush previously on my first visit to the dentist after getting my new brush my dentist could tell I was using a different toothbrush as my teeth were cleaner and my gums healthier.
