innova hi innova,I had built in lights when I had my Phillips TV but when I changed it the new 1 didn't have the 'ambilight' function so I bought a set of lights like these,I find it creates an illusion of fluidity when the TV is being watched,I get less eye strain and I find a slightly brighter picture, it's also good 4 creating atmosphere...so much so that I now have these lights on all my TVs....bit like living in a disco mind u these r a great price as well...hope this helps

Mamanjane excellent. That's what I meant. Buying this plus a TV without a bi light seems to be cheaper than buying one with ambilight official included, if you catch my drift. Surely then it's only a matter of getting the light settings that you want XD

SueC69 yeah ur absolutely right...I dont know if u could order 1 then once its processed order another...or do wot u did n I ordered 1 set n my daughter another...worth a try if it'll save some money...I'll keep my fingers crossed 4 u
