Actually, if you try it, it can work for previous customer as well. I have had this last time which expired a week ago and now I got extra free months and £20 would apply after the month for two following months. however, as you say, it's must be checked while it's ending.
Great thanks. Worked for me. I had a free trial previously followed by a paid for subscription when I forgot to cancel and it let me get the £20 credit /month free. Now I just need to remember to unsubcribe at the end of the free period!
