Black Friday Start Times INCLUDING B&M and NEXT
B&M and NEXT are doing Black Friday sales for the first time, plus Argos is set to start at 9PM tonight.
With Black Friday officially starting tomorrow, brands have pulled out all the stops to get customers to spend their money.
It’s been estimated that over £10 billion will be spent in the sales event, with discounts bigger and better than last year.
Latest Deals took a look at what brands have to offer in the last few hours before the big event.
Argos is starting its official Black Friday sale from 9PM today, Thursday 23rd November.
One of the most popular retailers for Black Friday, last year Argos made a total of £153 million on the sales day.
Although Argos have had its Black Friday offers on for a week already, these are just warm up deals, compared to the top tier bargains that will be up for grabs tonight.
Mark Steel, Digital Director at Argos, said, “Last year we saw enormous volumes of traffic on our website and Argos apps during Thursday evening before Black Friday, as customers started to hunt for the big bargains.
“This told us there was a clear appetite from our customers to snap up deals that evening, and that’s why we’ve decided to launch three hours early this year.
“This also means really dedicated bargain-hunters [such as members of LatestDeals.co.uk] won’t have to burn the candle and stay up into the small hours to get the biggest deals as they have in previous years.”
To help shoppers remain paw-sitive, Argos is hosting a kitten themed channel on their website, which will also launch at 21:00 and run until their Black Friday savings end.
B&M has announced it will be doing Black Friday for the first time.
The retailer will be hosting a weekend of Black Friday deals, but has already brought out some big savings ahead of the day.
Currently available are offers on sought after products, such as a Dolce Gusto Coffee Machine for less than half price.
B&M has teased that there will be “one huge discount to be announced on Friday”, but has given away some clues about what its savings will include.
There will be savings on big branded electrical products that will be published on their website throughout their weekend event, so bargain hunters should keep an eye on the site to see what the limited deals will go live.

Throughout the week, Debenhams has added offers to its site, such as up to half price electricals, up to half price furniture, and huge reductions on gift sets
Although these warm up deals may be tempting, the main event will kick off tomorrow, as well as extra savings appearing online for Cyber Monday on the 27th.
For the first time ever, NEXT has bowed to pressure and is doing Black Friday.
It has confirmed that up to a huge 70% will be discounted from a range of departments, such as men’s and women’s fashion, children's clothing, and homeware.
Deals will be available on electrical items, which are this years most sought after offers, but NEXT hasn’t said what products will be included.
Customers will be able to see Next’s deals from 3am on the 24th, when the sale goes live on their website.
Some lucky shoppers have already been able to grab an early deal from the retailer by snapping up early access VIP slots.
