Brits Outraged as McDonald's Axes Beloved 'Best Burger Ever' Next Week

Image
  • McDonald's is set to remove the Steakhouse Stack burger from its menu on February 6.
  • The popular burger, featuring beef patties, cheddar, onions, lettuce, and peppercorn sauce, has been a fan favorite.
  • Fans express disappointment, with one saying it's the best burger McDonald's ever had.
  • Other items leaving include the Fajita Chicken wrap, Cheesy Garlic Bites, and Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramel McFlurries.
  • New additions from February 7 include KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry, Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, and the return of the Big Tasty burgers.

Well, it's a sad, sad day for McDonald's aficionados, folks! The fast-food giant has dropped a bombshell that's got everyone talking – they're axing the 'best burger ever', the Steakhouse Stack, next week! Picture this: two juicy beef patties, a slice of rich cheddar, crispy onions, fresh lettuce, all smothered in a dreamy peppercorn sauce and hugged by a toasted bun. Sounds heavenly, right? Well, it's been such a hit since its grand entrance in March 2023, with burger lovers singing its praises left, right, and center.

One fan gushed, "This is one of the best burgers I have ever tasted," while another declared it "definitely the nicest burger from McDonald's ever." There was even talk of giving the inventor of this masterpiece a medal or something. But, as they say, all good things must come to an end, and fans are not happy about it. One disappointed soul lamented, "But like everything good, you take it away and leave the bland old menu the same."

But wait, there's more! It's not just the Steakhouse Stack waving goodbye. The Fajita Chicken wrap, Cheesy Garlic Bites, and those irresistible Cadbury Dairy Milk and Caramel McFlurries are also taking their final bow. Talk about an overhaul!

Fear not, though. McDonald's isn't just taking away; they're giving too! From February 7, they're rolling out some tantalizing new treats. Get ready for the KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry, Raspberry and White Chocolate Pie, and the classic KitKat Milk Chocolate McFlurry making a comeback. Plus, the Big Tasty and its bacon-clad cousin are stepping up to fill the void. And let's not forget the Mozzarella Dippers and the Breakfast Wrap making a grand re-entry.

Georgie English at The Sun dished out the details on this menu shake-up, giving us the inside scoop on what's leaving and what's coming. Prices for the new items are pretty reasonable, with the KitKat Ruby Chocolate McFlurry at £2.19 and the Big Tasty at £7.69, among others.

Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, commented, "While it's always a bit sad to see popular items go, McDonald's refreshes its menu regularly to keep things exciting. The new additions, especially the return of the Big Tasty, are sure to be a hit with customers."

It's about time they did something a bit more exciting for us vegetarians. Vege deluxe? What's deluxe about it? Where's the spice on the menu?

Burger Kings Aberdeen Angus burger is much better anyway. The outgoing McFlurries were nothing special but the incoming ones sound worse with the possible exception on the Raspberry one. the White chocolate will probably spoil it though 😟
