The 15th century farmhouse has many stories to tell. Its quirky details, historic features and stylish interiors make for a memorable stay, whilst the surrounding Hertfordshire countryside offers much to explore including Knebworth House.
Dishes feature locally sourced produce from nearby farms, game from the best local shoots and the freshest seafood from North Norfolk fishermen. Add in homegrown fruits and vegetables, foraged finds and honey from the hotel’s very own bee hives, all beautifully prepared by executive chef, Sherwin Jacobs, and his team. The result is a menu that constantly changes and consistently delights.
There are four classically styled bedrooms in the main farmhouse and eight in the adjoining courtyard which have been converted from the original stables and coach house.There are a further 15 stunning bespoke guest rooms in a Grade II listed barn conversion across the yard.
