★ Alegría first premiered in 1994 and has been seen by over 14 million people and performed in 255 cities and 40 countries making it one of Cirque du Soleil's most successful shows. The original show was performed in London in 1998 and following its success has returned 4 times.

★ In 2019 in celebration of its 25th anniversary Alegría was restaged with stage direction, music, acrobatics, sets, costumes, lighting and makeup all being looked at in a new light to ensure that the show would be as inspiring to today's audiences as it was in 1994. This is the first time audiences will be able to experience the new show in the UK.

★ It has a Grammy-nominated soundtrack featuring the iconic title track Alegría that is still the most streamed and purchased CDS soundtrack to date.

★ The show has 53 acrobats, and a total of 112 people from 26 countries make up the cast and crew.

★ Alegría opens on 11th January 2024 and marks the 28th year that Cirque du Soleil have performed at the iconic Royal Albert Hall.
