Dining
Brookes restaurant serves a generous full English breakfast, containing local free-range eggs, sausages and bacon, as well as a refined, double AA Rosette, fine-dining experience in the evenings. Head chef John Brandon uses fresh, seasonal ingredients - often picked from the hotel's kitchen garden - to create sumptious dishes like green and white Wye Valley asparagus, tartiflette and onions; Merryfield duck, pak choi, sweet potato and orange; and Morello cherry crème brûlée and honeycomb for pudding. Sit down with a coffee by the fire or in the garden, or treat yourself to afternoon tea (complete with champagne, perhaps). The Library Bar is on hand for a well-crafted cocktail.
Please be aware that Brookes Restaurant offers an adults-only dining experience in the evening. Children aged 10 years old and above can be accommodated; if you wish to dine with younger children, a table can be arranged for you in the lounge area, where you can also enjoy the Brookes Restaurant dinner menu.
Spa
The spa is modern and inviting, set in an impressive, glass-walled building. With two pools, a thermal suite, sauna, and chill-out space, you'll also find a selection of Elemis treatments alongside the thermal retreats, which are perfect for some quiet adults-only pampering. We advise guests to pre-book spa treatments as soon as possible with the hotel; treatment times can't always be guaranteed so it's best to save disappointment.
Location
There's plenty to occupy yourself with in the area, from Kidderminster Safari Park to the steam railway of the Severn Valley. Country walks and nearby farms provide a great afternoon out and for thrill-seekers, Drayton Manor Theme Park is within reach. Birmingham is 30 miles away, and peppered with museums, galleries and attractions.
