GavinX the machine may be cheap but the pods are really expensive you cannot use or put it this way no other pods fit, Tassimo own the patent and will not allow any other company to manufacture copies that's why the machines are always on offer, a sprat to catch a mackerel they're around 50 pence each pod.

smallbike1961 When I had a Tassimo I never found the basic coffee pods that satisfactory to be honest, definitely inferior I felt to filtered ground coffee that is cheap as chips in comparison. What I loved about Tassimo was the cappuccinos or mochas, the flavours that typically required 2 pods, one for the coffee and one for the sweetened flavoured milk. You got 8 of those (16 pods) for about £4 back then and in the end it just seemed too expensive. I got rid of my machine purely down to the expense and I wanted the space back on the worktop. I still think its a great product as long as you are happy to spend so much money on the pods.
Great price for a tassimo also make a great price for a coffee lover, I’m a big coffee drinker and I’m on my third but at this price that’s not a problem Thank you for sharing

Be careful with Tassimo you can only use their coffee pods there is no unbranded ones that fit it and Tassimo ones are not cheap around 50 pence each.
