These are great brooms as they do catch all the pet hair. The rubber brush is effective because rubber is a very flexible material. It keeps its shape unlike the normal bristle type which usually wears down over time and needs replacing. It would pick up human hair too which tends to get caught in everything. It's easy to clean too. I think the downside is the price. I think the price would be better if it was cheaper say around £10
