When will UK Amazon Prime Day 2020 start? I predict the UK Amazon Prime Day sale will start on Monday 5th October 2020 and that Amazon Prime Day will run for at least two days, probably more. Pencil the date in your diary now!
I’m sticking my neck out with this prediction (it's my best guess!), but here’s why I think Amazon Prime Day 2020 will start on Monday 5th October 2020. Or possibly the following week.
There’s been no official announcement yet, but digging around I have found a few clues:
1) In an official statement, Amazon confirmed: "This year we’ll be holding Prime Day later than usual, while ensuring the safety of our employees and supporting our customers and selling partners."
2) Then during an earnings call, an official Amazon spokesperson said Prime Day would be "in the fourth quarter" 2020.
3) CNBC reported they had seen an email to third-party Amazon sellers with an October 5th placeholder date for Prime Day
4) Black Friday 2020 starts Friday 27th November
Working from those clues, I reckon early October is the most likely date for the UK Amazon Prime Day 2020, and starting on a Monday is also the most likely (like it did in 2018 and 2019). Any later than early October and there would hardly be any gap between UK Amazon Prime Day 2020 and the Black Friday / Cyber Monday promotions in late November.
So there you have it. I reckon Monday 5th October 2020 is the date to watch.
I also think UK Amazon Prime Day 2020 will run for at least 48 hours like last year, and probably for longer in order to maximise sales from the pent-up demand.

It looks like you are basing your September prediction for Amazon Prime Day on an article published in the Daily Mail on 21st May 2020. I think that September is unlikely now, especially as when Amazon reported its second-quarter results on 30th July it confirmed this year’s Prime Day shopping event will take place in the fourth quarter (i.e. Oct-Dec).
Amazon have had some pretty good deals in last few weeks with amazon firestick today for certain accounts 4k for 24.99 and a big thank you to yourself for sharing some of these fantastic deals
Amazon Early Black Friday Deals will be available to all consumers regardless of Prime status. unlike some Amazon sales events, you won’t have to splurge £79.00 for a year’s membership or trouble yourself with the subterfuge of signing up for an Amazon Prime trial and remembering to cancel before it expires.
