Bargain but will not be able to install windows 11 on it when windows 10 stops be updated
BirrBoy Microsoft are currently offering free upgrades if the PC can take it . Problem with these offers is that 160GB hard drive coupled with 4 GB ram is very restrictive in what you can do. It’s a dinosaur compared to even average machines these days.
BirrBoy Windows 10 is commercially supported until 2025, and extended support for LTSC users until 2029.
You can install Windows 11 on non-compat machines with Rufus, but I wouldn't. I'm avoiding 11 altogether and will move to a Linux distro in 2029 or try Windows 12, assuming it's available by then.

Windows 98 - Good
Windows ME - Bad
Windows 2000 - Good
Windows XP - Good
Windows Vista - Bad (eventually was a decent OS over the years)
Windows 7 - Good
Windows 8 - Bad (8.1 was an improvement although too little too late)
Windows 10 - Good
Windows 11 - Jury is still out (may be salvageable, but unlikely)
Tazmania16 Windows 11 is essentially 10 reskinned and with new restrictions.
For that, I'm not installing it.
