MedExpress referral credit: a simpler way to save on your next order
MedExpress has a fairly straightforward referral scheme. If you’re already a customer and you’ve placed a qualifying order, you can invite a friend privately. They don’t allow referral codes to be shared publicly.
Here’s how it works:
- Your friend gets £50 off their first order over £99, subject to treatment approval
- You get £50 in account credit once their order has been dispatched
- Credit is capped at £4,000 over 12 months, and each credit expires after 12 months
If you’re looking for a MedExpress discount code or voucher, it’s worth knowing that referral savings usually can’t be combined with other promotions. Some discounts also can’t be added later at checkout.

If you have a Blue Light Card, this is usually the strongest MedExpress-style saving available. It gives you 30% off your first order, but you need to apply it at checkout, because it can’t be added afterwards.
One thing that catches people out: the name on your Blue Light Card needs to match the name on your MedExpress account. You also can’t use it alongside another MedExpress discount code or a referral code, so it’s best to choose the one that saves you more and use that.
Try Price Match
MedExpress has a Price Match scheme that lets you claim credit within 7 days of buying, as long as your order was at least £99.99. The most you can get back is £40 in credit on eligible orders.
There are a few limits, and they matter. It won’t match promo prices, special offers, discount-code prices, wholesale prices, third-party marketplace sellers, or services that aren’t genuinely comparable. So if you’re checking another site, make sure it’s a proper like-for-like comparison.
Choose delivery
Delivery isn’t free, so it’s worth picking the option that actually fits what you need instead of defaulting to express.
MedExpress charges £2.90 for standard delivery, which usually arrives 1 to 3 days after dispatch. Express is £3.95 and is typically delivered within 24 hours after dispatch. Post Office Collection also costs £3.95.
Orders placed before 4pm may be dispatched the same day, but that still depends on clinical approval. We wouldn’t pay extra for express on that basis alone unless you really need it.
Cancel early
This isn’t really a discount tip, but it can save you money. You can cancel and get a refund at any point before the clinical team has prescribed the medication. Once the prescription has been issued, you can’t cancel, and dispensed medication can’t be returned or refunded.
So if you’ve changed your mind, do it quickly. Leaving it until later and hoping for the best usually won’t work.
