We are offering one lucky winner the chance to enjoy a one night stay at the historic 5 star Buxton Crescent Hotel on the edge of the Peak District.

The winner and their guest will enjoy a three-course dinner, breakfast the next morning and use of the spa facilities, including an indoor-outdoor rooftop pool, thermal mineral pool, ice fountain, steam rooms, sauna, fitness centre and much more.

Located in the pretty spa town of Buxton, renowned for its healing thermal spa waters discovered by the Romans, and situated on the edge of the Peak District, Buxton Crescent Hotel is the perfect spot for a relaxing wellness getaway.

Guests can enjoy the extensive spa facilities throughout their stay, and choose from a range of unique Ensana spa treatments exclusive to Buxton within the UK, with highlights including the Therapeutic Thermal Mud Pack, with mud derived from Lake Heviz in Hungary to aid aching joints, and the Signature Wave Balance on the Water Couch – a cocooning massage on a warm waterbed.

Buxton Crescent’s restaurant, The Dining Room, serves classic British cuisine with an international flair in an exquisite setting to match the grandeur of the hotel.

Led by Head Chef, Sean Sutton, their A La Carte menu boasts a range of impressive dishes ranging from Oak Smoked Venison Carpaccio and Seared Shetland Scallops with coriander broth for starters to Milk Poached Skrei Cod with roasted cauliflower puree and almond foam and a Loin of Herdwick Mutton with hotpot potato and pickled red cabbage paint as mains.

Desserts include classics with a twist like their Spiced Apple and Blackberry Crumble with calvados custard and viola, and Yorkshire Grown Rhubarb Terrine with Grasmere ginger bread and frozen custard.

The Dining Room also serves a special Market Menu, and breakfast each morning.

The Prize

One winner will receive an overnight stay at Buxton Crescent Hotel with a guest, including a three course dinner with a bottle of house wine, and breakfast the next morning, plus use of the spa facilities.

Terms & Conditions

Entrants must be 18 years of age or above.

- The prize is as described above; it is not transferable and no cash alternative is offered.

- Travel expenses are not included.

- The prize must be taken (subject to availability) within 6 months of the competition closing date. The prize cannot be taken at Bank Holidays or any black-out dates.

- Dinner includes a starter, main and dessert from the set ‘Market Menu’ plus a bottle of house wine. All other drinks are charged separately.

- Spa access is included in the stay.

- Spa treatments can be booked in separately with the spa once the booking has been confirmed. Spa treatments are not included in the prize and will be charged.
